My name is Steve and I would like to introduce myself as a new real estate agent with Hometown Realty. My wife, Doris, and I originally bought a lot at Lake Thunderhead in 2006. We would camp on some weekends in the summer months and enjoyed those times so much that we decided to buy our house on Falcon Drive in 2011.  At this point, we became weekenders and drove to Lake Thunderhead from Montezuma, Iowa,  almost every weekend throughout the year and enjoyed it immensely with our 3 children and 7 grandchildren.  Our son’s family even ended up buying a house across the road from us as they enjoyed it so much. As we enjoyed the lake and the people we were meeting around the lake, we started planning to make Lake Thunderhead our permanent home. In December 2017 our plan came together and we retired early and moved to the lake full time.
 
I have always enjoyed meeting new people and had an interest in real estate so I contacted Hometown Realty because of my personal dealings with them.  I had always been impressed with Hometown’s marketing and enthusiasm for real estate. They not only allowed me to become an agent for them but have been very helpful in assisting me getting my license and started in the business.
